When they did the open heart back in July, they had to insert a balloon pump in her groin b/c they had to stop her heart. Anyway, to do the balloon thing they had to harvest her vein. The area by her knee--where the stitches were supposed to heal up, didn't.
Instead it opened up leaving a huge hole in her leg. So she's back on the operating table but no surgery. Just a serious scrub and some huge doses of antibiotics.
So anyway, her hospital room had the most stunning view of a sunset last night.
